BEADWORK JEWELLERY Every Monday morning 10.30am - 12.30pm, every Monday afternoon 1.30pm - 3.30pm & every Friday afternoon 1.30pm - 3.30pm Come and make stunning and individual pieces of jewellery for both everyday and special occasion wear, plus other wonderful beadwork items both for yourself and to give as gifts. No previous experience is necessary, but you are warned that beading can become extremely addictive! SCULPTED COLLAR A one day workshop Saturday 25th September 2010, 10.00am-4.00pm A dramatic statement piece worked in peyote stitch in three sizes of seed beads resulting in a radiating ribbed effect and incorporating a few Swarovki crystals to add a little sparkle. The collar is wide at centre front and tapers round the sides to the fastener at centre back. Make it in the colours of your choice. |

SOPHISTICATION LARIAT A one day workshop Saturday 9th October 2010, 10.00am-4.00pm A lariat length with a simple repeating pattern is worked in seed beads in square stitch with an incorporated embellishment on both edges and fringing on the ends. To fasten the lariat at the front it is looped through two rings also worked in seed beads. Make it in the colours of your choice. |

CRESCENT MOONS NECKLACE A one day workshop Saturday 4th September 2010, 10.00am-4.00pm This elegant necklace is composed of chunky individual crescents worked in three sizes of seed beads using the right-angle weave and peyote techniques of beadwork. BYZANTINE CUFF A one day workshop Saturday 2nd October 2010, 10.00am-4.00pm A wide, bold but sophisticated bracelet worked in two layers. The base is worked in seed beads in two-drop peyote stitch (not as complicated as it sounds!), and this is overlaid with an embellishing layer worked in netting in seed beads with the addition of small pearls.
