A Talk on beads and beadwork jewellery can be given by arrangement to women's groups, craft groups, etc.

The talk covers the following:

• the history of beads
• the uses of beads
• types of beads, including manufacture, history and mythology
• bead stringing, threading and weaving techniques.

The talk lasts approximately an hour and is illustrated with a large display and many samples that are passed around the audience.

There is a fee plus travel expenses dependant upon the distance travelled, please contact me for details.

Demonstrations can be given, but are best for very small groups only, as beading techniques are very intricate and the majority are worked with tiny seed beads.
